how to create a link to a document in a different sharepoint library

1)    Open your document library.

2)    Click on settings> document library settings.

3)    Select the link – advanced settings under the column – general settings.

4)    Select yes for the option – allow management of content types. Click on OK.

5)    Select – ‘add from existing site content types’.

 

 

 

6)    Select – link to a document. Click ADD, click OK.

 

 

 

7)    Now open the document library. Click new > link to a document. This will be used to create a link to a document in a different document library.
